MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Host board game groups
• Prepare coffee & drinks
• Serve light snacks
• Concierge our cat space

Remuneration:

Based on the Restaurant Industry Award [MA000119] Level 2 in the Food and Beverage Stream. You can view the award here, and use the Fair Work PACT calculator here to understand your base pay.

Experience: 

• Love of board games
• Love of cats
• Cafe experience preferred but not required

We are central Brisbane’s only cat cafe, Lucky Cat! We’ve been running our Thursday board game nights for the past 8 months and, while we’d love to give them more attention and help our small community grow, we don’t currently have the resources to do that ourselves. So we’re searching for an enthusiastic young gamer who is willing to help groups learn board games while performing typical cafe duties. We also open our cat room during the evening, so we’d expect you to be able to show customers in and introduce them to our setup. Full training for all of the above will be provided.

While this role is currently only available for 3-4 hours per week (5:30 to 9:30), we are hoping to open on other nights for more regular events in the near future, and you’d be our first option for those shifts.
