‘Cattabis’ Catnip
All of our catnip is organic & free of pesticides – safe for cats (& humans) to eat, roll in, or even drink as a tea!
About 50% of cats inherit a sensitivity to catnip, but it generally doesn't have an effect on kittens under 6-12 months of age.
Generally, when a cat smells catnip it makes them playful & blissed out for around 10 minutes.
When ingested it usually has the opposite effect & makes them more mellow & calm.
Once a reaction is produced, it can take a few hours to have an effect again.
To use: sprinkle a small amount on an area / object, or inside a toy that’s ok for your kitty to maul.
If it loses its effect after a while (e.g. in a toy for a few months), you can rub the herb to release more oils. Keep jar closed to maintain freshness.
You can also make tea by steeping the herb in hot water, allow to cool completely before giving to your cat. This tea is safe for humans to drink & has a similar effect & taste to peppermint tea (same herb family).

Cosmic DustA spaced out blend of organic valerian, catnip & scullcap powders to send your cat on a good trip.
May help to reduce anxiety in cats, when used at least 30 minutes prior to a stressful event, e.g. vet trips, thunderstorms, fireworks.
To use: rub a small amount on a toy or scratching post & wait for the magic!
Rub in well to prevent the powdered herbs being inhaled by your cat.
Alternatively, mix well into a small amount of water & offer it to them to drink.

Catnip: as detailed above.
Valerian: Used in humans to naturally encourage sleep, also makes cats more likely to sleep after smelling it. BUT, they might go crazy & playful for a few minutes first! Similar to catnip, but makes kitties more likely to sleep afterwards. It won't make your kitty drowsy, just keen for a nice nap.
Scullcap: Also known as Skullcap, this herb reduces anxiety & promotes calmness in cats. When combined with Valerian, it will increase the effects of both & naturally relax cats without them feeling 'drugged'.
